Still, i do not allow paranoia to rule, i merely take some precautions just in case.

Like having my various online nicknames completely separated and limiting what i write online, even if i write a lot i usually generalise it enough that it´s not useful enough.

My friend in comparison, he never goes online other than through a proxy, and refuses to register on things like FB. :P

Pleasant thought to contemplate is NSA already knows all of everyones passwords and nicknames and login info.

In late March I saw (and heard) my first "End of the World" prophet in a LONG time. Guy standing on a street corner with a sign and proclaiming the world was going to end an a certain date in 2017. Wasn't really clear about why and how or the signicance of the date. Wasn't clear if it had religious basis or just something awfull is going to take us out.

I didn't stay long to listen- sometimes these things are entertaining- but haven't heard anything else in this line since then. Apparently the "media" hasn't considered him worthy of note.

I still make sure to make fun of the people who actually believed the 2012 crap. For the sole reason to remind them how stupid they were.

Even a busted analog 24 hour clock is exactly correct once a day. Eventually we will be contacted by that aforementioned big spaceship. Perhaps we already have, but by other means. Perhaps the aliens have been guiding and nudging us humans for quite some time now. It would explain lots of stuff to this paranoid.

Paranoid behavior is sometimes good. Out here in SW OR USA, about 43N and 123W, (kinda) our two big concerns are seasonal hot dry weather fast moving forest fires, the long overdue but somewhat non predictable Cascadian Mega Subduction Earthquake and big alien spaceships. Wait ... that is three! HB :)
