Well, yeah.

And your point is --- ?

Oh just the usual one that I'd actually like a new book from you every couple of months or so! :D :D

I pop off to RL for a weekend and look what happens on the forums! :o

Thanks, Robert Woodford, I'd forgotten about the Baen monthly bundle route.

Thank you, RFC, for that update on your writing plans. Regarding your collaborative work, my first thought went naturally to the next Multiverse-novel. Is there any chance we'll see at least the eARC of that in the next 18 months or so?

Next project after this one was Through Fiery Trials in the Safehold series for Tor Books. That one is handed in and is in production with a January release date (and I got it to them late, for a lot of reasons).

Since then, I've done a couple of novellas, including one for a Larry Correia anthology on femme fatales, and the final edit on a collaboration (The Gordian Protocol) with Jacob Holowach, which Toni Weisskopff is reading now. Then there's the time I sat talking with Chris Kennedy about a collaborative sequel to Out of the Dark for Tor. I've proposed it to Tor but haven't heard back from them yet, and I'm looking forward to it because there are certain aspects of the original novel which have been subject to in-universe . . . misinterpretation.

Eric and I talked at Manticon about the next Victor and Anton novel, and I need to get him the notes on that. My next solo project for Baen will be the sequel to Sword of the South, but there are some other goodies in the works, as well.

...

There are a couple of other things that I'm involved in that I haven't mentioned above. But I trust that it's apparent that I am keeping busy despite my advanced age and general decrepitude.

IIRC, John got you an outline / notes for the next Empire of Man / Roger book

Anything happening on that?

That's Woodward (just how did you get Woodford out of it).

I hope the Victor & Anton book includes Damian as well.

On a rather more selfish note,

I would like another book/SS in the following series:

Star Kingdom

The Fury

Empire of Man

Dahak

Out of the Dark
.
T&R
GJS

A man should live forever, or die in the attempt
Spider Robinson Callahan's Crosstime Saloon (1977) A voice is heard in Ramah

What am I missing? Why does "RealLife" have a TM after it?

Of course, TM = Trademark. My guess is that he's being humorously facetious with a prerequisite amount of truth.

Trust me, he has surely patented and trademarked his own version of dealing with RealLife. And neither I, nor you, nor unwary human can step into his shoes and survive it. He has a trademark on reality as it pertains to him.

It is a wildass guestimate on my part at best, because, well, his real life is his trademark.

IOW, no one truly knows one's joys and woes but one.

'Tis my guess it's just a bit-o-humor.

My niece and my sister likes to put TM at the end of...

LoveYou™ or lUv™

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Looks like one row of the ‘corn crop is going to be stunted; it didn’t get the nitrogen.

Maybe, until we hear otherwise that'll do. But he used the TM in reference to Real Life in his Safehold post too. Twice in the same post actually.

I understood that TM refers to trademark. I'm just wondering if Real Life is a business or organization.
