Crystal clear context...
1. She’d been one of the Mesan Alignment’s most effective “wet work” specialists for decades, because she was smart, she was tough, she was quick-thinking…and she really, really liked killing people. If she hadn’t been so far inside the onion, she’d have fitted in perfectly with Manpower, although her tendency to kill people probably would have cut into even Manpower’s profit margin. He hadn’t doubted for a moment that she’d actually like the notion of setting off nuclear devices in urban settings.

2. Of course I do, and so does Albrecht. If you see a better option, I’m sure he’d be delighted to hear it.”

“It’s going to be even messier from the get-go than our existing Houdini plans ever envisioned,” she continued, ignoring his last sentence. “I mean a lot messier, Rufino. Right off the top of my head, I’d be astonished if the collateral damage doesn’t at least double even before we start tying off those loose ends.”

“I know,” he sighed. The difference between them, he thought, was that for Marinescu that was simply a tactical problem, not a moral one.

3. She was one of those people who confused eagerness to kill with willingness to kill,

Can't get any more psychopathic than that. Well, she can. And she (Marinescu not Bardasano) does, with the emotionless killings.

She's so psychopathic it's humorous. Your stubbornness on this matter is also, humorous. Give up the ghost man!

I never denied that she was a stone-cold psychopath. Where do you get the idea that I did?

NO. It does NOT, I repeat DOES NOT say that. It says that there is no known history, as far as he knows. Besides, I can list a plethora of psychopathic murderers who also had no known history of psychopathic killings until bodies began to surface.

Jeffrey Dahmer also didn't have a history until he was discovered with bodies in his freezer. BECAUSE HE WAS EATING THEM! Another stone-cold psychopathic killer. He was so stone-cold he used a freezer.

It seems obvious to me that RFC has put a name to it now -- it's called fleshing it out!

Besides, as I stated upstream, when would the defect have had time to manifest itself hiding out for so long behind the inside of the Onion. She has certainly hit the ground running, err killing now.

Marinescu is certainly establishing a history now. She doesn't have to hide it in the closet or a freezer either. She's given full carte blanche, and she's loving every minute of it!

Let me repeat. I have never denied that she is a stone-cold psychopath. You seem to be arguing something that has nothing whatever to do with my point.

Actually, no she doesn't(didn't):

Harahap's musing...
It sounded like Zilwicki was essentially a free agent whose primary loyalty was split between the Kingdom of the Torch and the Star Kingdom, now Star Empire, in which he'd been born.

Harahap speaking...
"I'm afraid I only actually met Detweiler twice..."

1. Why would Zilwicki's loyalty be split?

2. Harahap met Detweiler?

Also, Harahap is wondering why he hasn't dropped dead from the kill switch. I don't recall Manty ONI formally knowing about a kill switch. Which would help explain a lot of incidents.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

There has also been a cyber sketch of Detweiler produced by Manty intel from Harahap's description which Harahap says is pretty accurate, except that it doesn't capture how much command presence he has.

It is confirmed by Pat Givens that systems are being visited by Solly buccaneers. I assume this is referring to their commerce raiding strategy.

Note:
I am listening to the snippet again and attempting to highlight as many important points as I can for those who have expressed a need for text.

He's missing the bigger inaccuracy though. Specifically its missing the highly dispersed nature of the atoms!

Indeed. But if you've seen one clone, haven't you seen them all?

This seems to be the heart of the misunderstanding between Cthia and JohnRoth. Both agree that Martinescu is a psychopath, which is amply demonstrated by textev. The argument is about Bardisano. Cthia seems to be assuming that the Chernyshev quote means that Marinescu shares the Bardasano heritage (the comments on Bardisano are about her genome, ie the genetic traits which identify her particular breed line, NOT about some single gene). However, the textev implies Chernyshev is contrasting Bardasano and Martinescu, along the lines of "Bardasano's line may have been so dodgy it came near to being terminated sometimes, BUT Marinescu is a genuine psychopath". The line Weird Harold highlights makes it impossible to argue that Marinescu shares the somewhat unstable Bardisano genome.

If Cthia wants to continue to argue that Bardasano is a psychpath we have to see actual textev about her behaviour which specifies that.

One thing we'll never know, thanks to Jack McBryde, is whether Bardasano would have been evacuated during Operation Houdini. It could be that the Detweilers would have found her usefulness had come to an end.
