just got an e-mail from baen saying the new travis long book is available via Earc.

it is not compromising honor but it will ease my craving for new RFC work

RFC said "refitting a Beowulfan SD to Manticoran standards would be just as difficult as refitting a standard SLN SD to those standards. In other words, it would be cheaper and faster to build new ships."

Just a friendly reminder. All threads that deal with eARCs (and I presume snippets) should be marked [Spoiler} until a month after the first dead tree version is available in the bookstores, in this case that means until May.
