Approprié, n'est-ce pas?

Eloise has been reaching for her "star" for almost half her life. I would "take it" too when it finally comes within reach.

I mean, you could do that. It would result in my brain dribbling out my ears and me going catatonic from the mental imagery for a good century or so, but you could.

Just read the story....

Very sad. But Estelle's death was not in vain unlike all too many deaths in real life.

I find myself wanting more like tracing how Eloise becomes an Aprilist and how her story goes through the struggle with the Legislaturists and how she survives up until we meet her as Giscard's commissioner in Honor Among Enemies, IIRC.

Yet, she would trade it all for a moment she cannot have. Birds of a feather, eh Roseandheather?

I think that I find this story more interesting than what's going on in the main arc. Perhaps because it would be her book(s) and not 100 different character POV.

Totally agree, would be one hell of a story.

Side twist - how the Aprilists were suborned into taking out Harris by the Committee for Public Safety. Without Kevin, taking out Harris would not have been so easy. Also, you have to wonder what other "actions" Kevin planned, so many have his fingerprints on them.

Isn't there supposed to be a book, "House of Lies" coming up sometime? Maybe this story could be a part of it. Does anyone have any details?
