My guess, not counting any epilogue, is about 10t months.
My reasoning is that the travel times will stretch things
out. While it is true that the last few books spread out
and slowed down the progress, this is the final book of
this story arc. There are a lot of threads to be tied up,
and a good many to be left dangling in the wind.

Anyone else want to posit a guess ?

Can I guess?

I guess . . . . July 1922 to April — no, MARCH — 1923!

But it's only a guess, of course!

"Oh, bother!" said Pooh, as Piglet came back from the dead.

That's only six months or so after Henke and Tourville conquer Mesa. The dominos are falling awfully fast.

Then again, Honor was doing maneuvers with the assembled Grand Fleet in October of 22, so maybe the plan is now simply to get it over.

"He means that he feels safer about your guesses than most other people's facts." - McCoy to Spock, Star Trek IV.

That line somehow seems appropriate here.
