That'd work too and could also contain updated information that wasn't included in the originals

Heck I'd pay for digital only supplements and errata.

But yes, there's plenty I'd like to know beyond what's in HoS. All the details that used to be in Jaynes and more. Missile launcher make and cycle times, missile classes fired, full accel specs on the missiles, total number of control link (both offensive and defensive) available on broadside and hammer head, compensator design generation, expanded refit history, etc, etc.

You know all the stuff to tend let some of us totally geek out (and unfortunately lock RFC in on a bunch of tech bible stuff he'd probably like to keep flexible). Plus take his time away from working on the novels. :(

Well if we scream loudly enough for something like this after he released the next Honorverse novel, we might get it.

We can point out by making a public tech bible of existing content, it would give RFC the chance to... let's say, tidy up his tech bible as he's changed things and set things straight? All the 'fiddly bits' that have become such chaos could be straightened out for both us tech geeks, and for his writing notes.

Everybody would win, in the release of a public complete and comprehensive tech bible.

David doesn't want to limit the stories he can tell based on conceptual ideas that he came up with long ago. And once he publishes this kind of stuff he is limited by continuity, so even if he later realized that something was a bad idea he pretty much has to live with it.
