You can use this against them. Chasing ghosts means you have to spread out your forces. And if you put enough ghosts out there you will run out of ships to respond. A single DD squadron can produce dozens of ghosts in a day. And once you send a tasks forces of CLACS and SD(P) squadrons out a few light months to respond to each ghost they are totally unreachable until they come back.

Actually I think the ghost they directed was the spider drive in operation well with in they hyper limit. The RMN is not stupid so they will limit their investigations to what can be safely covered.

So now that the Alignment has become something that at least some people believe exist and is causing problems, what actual effect is that going to have on their master plan both in the short term and long term?

Presuming the Sharks can be resupplied with spider drive weapons plus the ballistic packages used against Manticore and Grayson, what targets would be both resonable and effective for them to strike (in conjunction with the Ghosts) now? Or is there anything that they both can and should hit that would further the Plan?
We don't really know when the Lenny Dets are going to be ready.
At this point, there may be more active Haven yards then Lenny Dets and there is still Bolt Hole to be found scouted. Not so good for the Alignment. Then there is Erwhon (and perhaps Maya) which is producing at least Manty lite ships. They and the Aldermani are going to be able to provide things that the SL and- we haven't been told otherwise- the RF don't have and can't yet build so the matrix of opposition and capability that the RF was intended to deal with has vastly changed.

Is that shadow group which has formed in the SL Naval Intelligence community gaining any traction in what they have been able to find out and what they can gather in terms of capabilities about either the GA or the Alignment?

Just how badly screwed is the Alignment going to be as what they want to do and what they can do and what they ought to do diverge?
