We had some fun with this a while back, but rather than recycle the thread, we decided that they'd both be grinning like kids after giving each other the go -- but my money is still on Palane because of the match between Hallowell and Honor. The other difference is that Honor is practiced in one style, Thandi is said to be the equivalent of a high ranking black belt in a number of styles.

At a minimum Palane is likely 25 kg heavier than Honor and at the extreme edge of speed, where Gunny Hallowell probably had the weight and height advantage but likely no greater speed than Honor, and he outpointed her very slightly. So it breaks down to "middleweight power at high speed" vs. "heavyweight power" at even higher speed. Additionally the coup is not known as a highly defensive martial art -- it's a furiously attacking style that may forego a defensive move to land a strike. Not a great plan against Thandi, methinks.

Keep in mind, however, they're not going to be going at it with kill speed/power in mind, as that is counterproductive to the whole concept of sparring.

Methinks Nimitz et al would be signing *them girlz' is crazy!* and maybe scolding both of them after -- while Fritz patches up more than a few bruises on both of them and someone takes all the broken body armor to the incinerator.
