Citizen Commodore Rachel Yang was regular Navy / PN not State Sec and seemed to be a reasonably decent sort, from what we saw of her.
Since she was with the first convoy to arrive at Hades, she must have learned her x-CNO Amos Parnell was alive and part of the evacuation party along with Admiral Sabrina Longmont. She may have even met the two of them.
If she has survived, she would have been under Legislaturist, CPS and Republican Navy commands.
AND survived her OWN stay on Hades.

For that matter, I wonder if that courier crew (the one that 'tipped off' Chernek by not bringing the chess move he was expecting) is still relaying messages around known space...and what they are thinking about all this.

I wonder if Rear/Vice/Full Admiral Rachel Yang would be useful somewhere in the gi-fucking-normous military unit that is Grand Fleet?
I wonder if she might be ripe to fall in love with a Manticoran?
Rose, you never give up matchmaking, do you?

And her? Well, the idiot in command is still alive and would have been looking for a scapegoat to present to St. Just, so there is a distinct possibility that she is no longer alive, given the proclitity of the PRH under the Committee to shoot first and, after asking questions, shoot the corpse again....
Not clear he would have had that degree of authority. Remember that St Just was considering having Thorngreave shot, but decided to leave him on Hades, so it is possible that any recommendations from him would fall on deaf ears, and that she is still alive.
Actually, that does leave the question of what happened to all of the people left on Hades when Honor left, and then, a few years later, the new government took over. Does Eloise repatriate most of them or leave them to rot (sorry rose), or invite them to emigrate to a galaxy far, far away.
