Check the pub date on your bookshelf anthologies.
There were no HH stories published in other anthologies before the first novel in the series, OBS, was published, and there were no HH short stories published in out-of-series collections until after the first Honorverse anthology.
In fact, I don't think (could be wrong on this one) that there are any HH stories that have been published in outside anthologies that have not first appeared in one of the Honorverse collections. If there were, it was not until many years after the series began.
