In Which GofyTomcat1 and RoseAndHeather rewrite songs from Les Misérables to suit the Honorverse. Peruse at your own risk!

So I think we need to determine characters so we're following the same storyline consistently before we start. Ideas? I think Honor should be Valjean. |

Honor is obviously Valjean. Pierre and Saint-Just as Les Thenardiers and Ransom as Javert? (I'm sorry, musical!Javert! I don't think you're really like Ransom!) ...Javier and Eloise as Marius and Cosette? Theisman as Eponine? *helpless giggling* ~*~

I agree with your brilliant ideas The '*helpless giggling' occurred with me too.
More thoughts... Nimitz as Gavroche (innocent, but injured) NO I WON'T KILL NIMITZ obviously StateSec are the soldiers/ police on Hell The students can possibly be Peep officers opposed to the PRH (Shannon Foraker, McQueen etc) as well as Manties and Graysons. The High Ridge government can be "patrons" of the Thernardiers Who would be Fantine? |

I hereby nominate Her Awesomeness Shannon Foraker as Enjolras. Tourville can be her Grantaire.
...Elizabeth as Fantine? HOLY SHIT ANDREW LaFOLLET AS EPONINE. HE CAN SING 'ON MY OWN' ABOUT HONOR. Wait. WAIT. Theisman and Haven as Marius and Cosette. Because we all know that Theisman's one true love will be the Republic. Eloise and Elizabeth can share Fantine. ...but what do we do with Javier?? ~*~

YES ON SHANNON!!!!! and LaFollet. Javier can be one of the people at the Wall (of battle/barricade)who is really important. A Heart Full of Love can be between Theisman and Eloise (who, in Theisman's mind is Haven in human form) because it's hard to have a star nation that sings for itself... |

ELOISE IS HAVEN IN HUMAN FORM. YES. OKAY. THIS. I LIKE THIS. I LOVE THIS. And you know - you just KNOW - that Javier, Alistair, Andrew, Andreas, and all the other 'goodies' killed over the course of the series turn up to sing in the final epilogue reprise! ~*~

And Tom and Honor have to have a distant duet on "Empty Chairs on Empty Bridges". Symbolizing their connection to each other even though they're officially on opposite sides of a war. And then comes the Wedding Chorale - Lester and Michelle?? - celebrating the Grand Alliance. THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. ~*~
