Oh! Didn't realize you had changed your name. I saw that the last post by John964 was in 2012. Sorry about the confusion! :)

Oh, I have no problem with this thread being resurrected. Unlike many threads, it's one of those topics that could be perennial. :D

I've always been intrigued by the "Preston of the Spaceways" series that keeps being mentioned.

It probably has as much in common with proper Honorverse naval tactics as the film Battleship has in common with American naval doctrine...

The Crusher, folowing one of the many, many officers I like from the setting through the story's namesake. Or even better Worlds of Honor # The Crusher with each story following a different character through the anthology's namesake. Every time a New Worlds of Honor comes out the I keep hoping that the Honor story will be about her time in the Crusher but no luck so far.

My time as <Insert all the ranks and titles she has by the point the story is written here> Harrington's student. A story following Abigail Hearns through the courses taught by Honor and some of Honor's dinner and simulation parties.

"Beowulf Dissected: A history of history, sexuality and Codes"

I'd really like to have a work of the history of Beowulf. Done in the spirit of Spock's World. That would be an epic read. Just like the aforementioned. (From where my handle cthia hails.)

Or it could be penned, Ally's World.
