All of the little Havenite kids and many officer's sentiment...
"You mean the big bad boogeymander will no longer get us?"
I'm pretty sure that Eloise's return to Haven in the wake of ART could form the basis for an entire novel of its own, given all the political horsetrading that must have been going on behind the scenes.
...I WANT IT.
I'd like to have that novel right now! It's a rainy day out here.
I hope that horse trading you mentioned didn't include some horseshit as well. I hope she didn't have to sell her soul to the devil.
I wish I could relax and have faith that the Alliance, as is, will stand. But I'm a little uneasy.
I really like this POV...

Give me Eloise's brilliant, erudite, sesquipedalian staff endlessly roaming the halls of Pericard Tower discussing the inner workings of the Havenite government. Give me Eloise commanding instant respect whenever she walks into a room. Give me Eloise saying, "This starship is going to Manticore!" Give me Eloise being a complete fucking badass every day of the week, and her staff not-so-subtly swooning at it.
*whimpering noises*

I can imagine her saying, "To Manticore or bust!"
Casting is really going to have to get Elly right.
But getting back on track, I'd like the complete POV of all the three heavy hitters in the same room. Eloise, Elizabeth and Benjamin. Benjamin smiling, enjoying the awesome company of two very powerful women. It surely would be erotic. What anecdotes they'd use to break the ice. If I could be a fly on that wall!
