I am rereading Admiral Byng's demise and his attitude is quick to anger many. In fact most Solarians make me consume cases of Old Tilman, and I don't even drink!

If we don't have the compensator, we can't make our acceleration back home, and we'll drift in space a derelict,until the systems begin to fail and the power runs out and the air gets foul and we all start eating each other..."

Another gem from "A Ship Called Francis" in The Service of The Sword. The prayers in this story are full of vivid descriptions of all the disasters which might possibly happen to a ship in space.

I simply employ a hangman type strategy.
i.e. F----- or f#%# or %$#$. Or effed up.
