It's a post by Arasin Staubly that starts the thread, @ 1:07pm.

Hmmm... I read it and although there was a bit of snarkiness, I wouldn't really say the guy got flamed. It seems to me that while there were some *asking* about putting the grav lance on LACs, they pretty much accepted it when told that it isn't possible (and the reasons why).

I dunno... it doesn't seem as bad as I thought it would be, and is pretty mild compared to what goes on here. The one person had a point, though... that some people aren't aware of or have access to this forum, the Pearls, or even Baen's Bar, and so they are probably not aware of certain things.

I would concur with your analysis, and I've posted an explanation of the grav lance (and the reasons for the controversy) on the page.

Namelessfly has the honor of being banned from these forums for a year, and I am on suspension from tRMN for a year. Why I took umbrage at the bullying of a member I knew Scott Acres was a hot head, I expected justice from Martin A Lessem, but alas no. My dealings with the top leadership of the group put me off big time. Scott is very good at disappearing controversial threads to make evry thing look happiness and light. I will say my experience with the group was suboptimal, there are good people in the group, but not in their top leadership IMHO.

OK, so perhaps I should point out that my reluctance to defend you was because you called me a Nazi. You called a Jew, a Nazi, and then you want that Jew to defend you when Scott suspends you for a year? Seriously?
